What is Coaching?
When meeting new people or practicing as a coach, I often get the question of what coaching is. In my view coaching is a partnership between equals where coachees are accompanied to learn, evolve and thrive into meaningful changes, by tapping into their own resources and sharpening the most precious tool that they have: themselves.
Through listening and questioning the coach uncovers the authentic and inspirational goals of the coachees, unveils core values and beliefs and works with coachees to spot and remove blocks and fears that are holding them back.
As a result of a coaching journey you will enhance clear thinking, presence and awareness, become able to drive generative conversations, develop new opportunities and desired outcomes, gain more clarity on goals, foster decision making, increase in motivation, accountability and action.
You will become overall more resilient and satisfied in your professional and personal life.

My Background
Before becoming an Executive Coach and Positive Psychology Practitioner, I spent almost 20 years in the legal sector, in top tier international law-firms (such as Clifford Chance and DLA Piper) and multinational companies (such as Danone and United Parcel Services) in France, Belgium, and Italy. Lately in my legal career, I experienced the struggle of balancing the relational and collaborative dimension of the working culture, from one side, and the achievement of sound business performances, from the other side.
My Path to Becoming an Executive Coach
In my last executive role as a General Counsel of a maverick telecommunication group in Italy (Iliad), I was confronted with a rapid business growth from a start-up level to a 10% of market share (and close to 1Bnโฌ revenues) in a highly regulated sector. I was challenged to rapidly build from scratch a solid and trustful legal team for the group.
How could I maintain high standard performances and timely delivery, as required by a fast-growing business, and at the same time foster collaboration, effectiveness, synergies, and motivation towards common goals?
The embracement of an authentic and courageous leadership style enabled me to transform my-self, impact my team and my organization, and foster a positive and collaborative working culture. Generative and trustful conversations in a safe thinking environment are the foundations of my leadership.
From there a journey started towards a meaningful change in my career. How could I leverage my learnings and experience to serve corporate environments for a greater good?
